Hi, Robert.

I'm sorry but I don't understand.
Could you mark what picture do you mean?
And what you expect?

Do you mean that guitar image is not square but a rectangle on the list?

Also try to switch to Joomla! default template Protostar and compare views - if you suspect template issue.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

The pic in the general box does not fit window. As it does the Guitar 101 box. Here is a better picture. I add the same photo. It appears very small and does not fit the window.

Hi, Robert.

Now I understand. This is not template issue. General category just have such a small thumbnail.
I agree it doesn't looks nice. Big white rectangular with small image in the middle.

How you want it loo like? Like cover in course?

Yes that would be great. Is that possible?

HI, Robert.

Hmmm, yes, it's possible. But it will require customization.

By default it was designed to look like this:

i.imgur.com/ipStiuI.png

So the best image for main category is a square. So rectangle should be cropped before upload.
At right is place for category description.

When all elements are present - layout have more sense.

Preparing custom code for customization will take a while. Do you still want it?

I see. The square pic allows room for a description. That does make more sense. Is there a way to make the background of the rectangle dark and then the font white to match the site better?

Hi, Robert.

Yes, you can. Just use this code:

.uk-block-muted {
background: transparent !important;
color: #fff !important;
}

Add it to your current template main css file.
