Of course, I didn't win the certificate because I have not yet passed the final exam.

If I directly go to the final exam to win the certificate, it works, I also received this email.

I tried on a new Joomla 3.4.5, same problem.

When I tried to complete a quiz, I received this:
1054 Unknown column 'score_quiz' in 'field list' SQL=select `score_quiz` from #__guru_quiz_taken_v3 where `user_id`=9415 and `pid`=2 and `quiz_id`=2
Seems that you don't have latest Guru tables, please provide us database access (phpMyAdmin URL and username/password) so I will check database Guru tables.

Regarding the problem, you can also try on a fresh Joomla installation, for example here :

Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it.

You will see you will receive the certificate notification on your email just after the quizz instead of just after pass the final exam.

For your information, the email notification is sent just after the first quizz but the certificate is not win.
We need to pass the final exam to win the certificate, that is normal and it works.

Please test now, I made changes in this component files - /components/com_guru/views/gurutasks/tmpl/view.php and all changes will be added in the next Guru version too.
