Hi, is there a way to have an email sent to a member once they have been approved to join a private group?
i.e. letting them know they have been added to the group

Many Thanks
Tim

Thanks,
I just found the emails still sitting in the 'mail queue' with a 'pending' status?
Why have these emails not sent automatically?

Thanks

Thanks Dimas,
yes I already have this cron job set in my cpanel.
All of the other registration emails were sent. It is just the emails with these subjects sitting in the mail Queue
1 - You are now a member of the InRhythm Facilitators group. (to user)
2 - websales requested to join the group, InRhythm Facilitators (to admin)

I just clicked on the 'Execute Cron Job' button from the Jomsocial mailque screen and it then sent the emails (maybe it was just waiting for the next cron job to occur?) It would be best if the emails could go straight away?
Thanks

Hi,

Please make sure your cron job command is working, on that doc I gave to you, there is 2 command options use wget and lynx, make sure your server enabled that command. If you want you can set cron via easycron.com, it will be easier you only need put cron URL and set the time there.

well.. the registration email is not depending cron job..

Ok thanks Dimas!

So if the cron job is not dependant for the group registration emails,
Why do they sit in the mailque until I select the button on the jomsocial notifications screen 'execute cron'?
Once I hit that button and refresh the page, the emails send

All other emails are sending perfectly, it is just the group registration ones that are stalling in the mailqueue

I hope you can assist
Many Thanks
