Remove Group Administrator

Greetings Pro's,
I have what will be simple to do, but it's driving me crazy seeing it. As the Super User of MADD Talent, I created a new group for our members and specifically one of our members. The name of the group is DFi University. Because I created this group, it keeps me as the group administrator. After the member I created this group for joined, I went into the back-end and made him the administrator. This is a private group that he needs to approve all new members of, but because I am still being seen as a group administrator of this group, it shows up on my global notifications when someone request to join his group.
It's not causing any problems on the site or for me, but it's very annoying. Is there a way to take me off this notification list or because I am a super user, I will just always see this?

I cant replicate this issue. I made a test, and the notification only sent to group admin:


could you please have a look at your account, to make sure got the notfication from 'test' user or not?

Hi,

sorry there is no bug regarding this issue. my misake.
please goto members list of that group. you can see the labels for: administrator and owner
group only can have 1 owner but can having many administrator.

at group members list, group owner can revert that admin to normal user:



FYI:
group administrator not related with joomla user group
