ISSUE SUMMARY:
Hello,

JS 4.2.2
PHP 7

When adding a file to a discussion - the upload screen is opened,
file upload bar is working,
rhere is a notification: Sorry, this group is under moderation by the administrator.

NO FILE is uploaded.

Please advise.

Hi,

you need to add file extension at joomla backend > content > media > options
please check it, I added docx and DOCX already

Why don't you add the file types to JS config screen?
It makes sense to control it from one place.

Hi,

it can't, because that using joomla configuration. jomsocial is running under joomla.
jomsocial cannot merge joomla configuration into jomsocial configuration page.
