if user A post new stream (photo or etc ,...) on group (private or public)
just Those who with user A are friends , can comment on stream, members group that can not comment on stream post

but if members group click on photo and open , can comment on stream



i think this is a bug,because if group A , have 10000 members or more, user A should add friends 10000 members , until the , 10000 members can comment on stream post on group
for group not should , all members together friends, for the comment on stream post
(if user A post new stream , all members can comment and can like stream user A.)

please check full (stream photo, stream video, post and etc ....).

It's not a bug :)
When user uploads a photo two things happen:

1. Image is uploaded into album
2. A notification is posted on stream.

Stream notification is NOT an image itself but just information about image. So commenting stream notification is not commenting the photo.

That's why stream post will follow profile privacy settings and photo will follow album/group album settings.

i tested
i joined goup A
but i can not comment on stream photos in group
becuase (for example)
i no firend with user B
but
if i friend with user B
i can comment on stream photo
this is very bad
becuase maybe group 10000+ members
i can not friend with 10000 memebrs from group A
please see image below :
1- In this photo user A with user B is frends, (this stream is notification). In this photo user A can cooment on image stream

but
2- In this photo user A no friend with user B, In this photo user A can not comment on stream image, just should click on image and open image until can comment on photo




if on stream notification can not comment , why if user A with user B are friend, can be comment?
i teste stream post , no problem, and if user A with user B no friend , user A can comment on stream post

if I'm not friend with user B or (I'm not friend with another members in group)
i can not comment on photo stream and just should click on photo and open photo until i can , comment on photo

please in demo jomsocial or jomsocial community, join a group , and try comment on photo stream
you see, that you can not comment on any photo in group if you not friend with members,for this problem you should first open photo until you can comment on photo stream

I tested it again.

User A is friend with user B and member of private group.
User B is friend with user A and member of private gorup.
User C has no friends but is member of private group.

User A has set all his photos for friends only.
Wall settings in JS backend is:
Only Friends can Comment on Photos -> NO

User A post a photo on stream in private group.
Both users B and C can comment it on stream and in photo as well.

In group there are not privacy settings for album or photos.
All group members are able to see it.
In private group it apply only to group members.
In my test there wasn't any difference (in private) group if setting "Only Friends can Comment on Photos' was set to NO or YES. In both cases group members ware able to see photo and comment it.
This seems to be your site specific issue.

if user A or user B post new stream photo on group (for example user A new post stream photo)
