Please, attach images with external service e.g snag.gy/ as now images are to small to see details.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

In this ZIP file are some loading reports from Google Chrome Inspector of pages:

In addition we had removed all Advertising codes, so you can be sure that there is NOT any conflict with 3rd party scripts.

Please note the number of loading attempts in relation how many posts are in thread:

- thread with 9 posts loads file 1-ranni-kaficko 18times!!
- thread with 9 posts loads file "groups" 9 times!!.
DOM is loaded in 1.99sec, but finish loading takes 29.25seconds! In this 27seconds user can't zoom photos in posts or play video included in posts etc. Thats our problem!

There MUST BE a relation between number of posts and loading attempts. So of there will be (for example) 500posts on this page, browser needs load this files 1000times and loading will take 2hours? It's a nonsense.

PS: important: on mobile phones this redundant file loading doesn't show.

Hi,

for temporary please turn off SEF + url rewriting under joomla global config


and open that page again, must be speed up now.

seem there is some bug related with joomla route. our developer still investigate it.

Hi,
We think so, the problem could be caused by routing. When we've tried to switch off the SEF loading times were much faster and acceptable. (Please note some interesting issue: the mobile version of this page doesn't affect by this - lady.cz on mobile phone with SEF ON or OFF is loaded fast in both cases)

But we need a SEF URL on this site because of SEO. We are ready to help you as much is possible to solve this problem. I really appreciate your effort.

unfortunately, we're still looking forward to receive patch, even the end of past week has gone. Could you provide to me another time estimation for the patch delivery? Our project has stopped just by this cause. Thank you for understanding and I really appreciate your effort.

Hi Jan,

I am sorry, not as expected..last time our developer was off for 2 days.. but i will bump him again..

actually we already know the detail of the issue, this is caused by chrome, which chrome have own procedure how to parse the svg icon, and it make the site slower..and the problem is very hard to fix this and take the long time for it, not as expected :(

So we skip it for awhile since we have another important task on our list

sorry for this..I will provide the patch once the developer fix this

Please try this fix, open this file components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/wall/content.php, find this code :

<use xlink:href="#joms-icon-camera"></use>
replace to :
<use xlink:href="<?php echo JUri::getInstance(); ?>#joms-icon-camera"></use>

and then download this file, extract it copy to components/com_community/assets/release_32/
