Problem: Is it possible to link directly a category group to a page of menu option?

I am displaying a Menú that have many group categories, now I have linked manually but it would be great if you can implement a option to link it directly.

And the linked menus only work if I have the main menu the "all groups" on a main page

You may create menu item that is an external URL.
Just paste certain category URL, e.g:

your-domain.com/groups/display.html?categoryid=14

You still need to have All groups menu item to keep right navigation.

And there are two problems with that:

1.- If I have another page item, it redirects to the principal page and the modules change because its other page. Example

2.- The final URL its too large and results bat to the SEO, is not an amigable URL

And because that I detect that the menú item redirects to the page where the "all proyects item are" and the problem is that doesn't respect the modules I assign to the page.

I tried to do my best on the next image to explain it, my english is not good enough.

"Proyectos" are groups, are they?
URL is fine, it won't be different.
Modules are assigned to that menu item you've created?
You can't assign modules to external URL menu items.

I will try to explain again, for example:

I have two different pages, with two different modules in each one, and linked to specific video category

Filminday.com/proyectos
Filminday.com/retos

For do that I need the "All groups menu item" to keep right navigation. So if I create a page nemaed

Filminday.com/videos

When I linked manually the specific category videos to "proyectos" and "Retos" the modules of that pages changes to "Videos" modules

So
Filminday.com/proyectos
Filminday.com/retos

Start to show the Filminday.com/videos modules instead of "proyectos" and "retos"

You removed JomSocial Toolbar menu... that caused your navigation issues.
This menu is used for JomSocial internal navigation.
You also need to have ONE JomSocial frontpage menu item outside JomSocial toolbar.
Than if you want to have menu items in main menu that direct to JS pages you need to use menu item alias and point to appropriate menu item in JomSocial Toolbar.

Now you need to recreate JomSocial Toolbar menu:

|— Edit Profile
|— Edit Details
|— Privacy
|— Preferences
|— Customize My Page

|— Show All
|— Search

In Jomsocial there is a problem, doesn't exist the option to link a "Menu Item" to a "specific category of videos, groups or events", so to create the URL requires the following:

Note: With that can custom the JomSocial for that we supposed to buy JomSocial, to customize. But if we want to customize we need to change the JomSocial toolbar, so it have the option to link "all Videos, groups or events" but JomSocial need to add more options such as video categories, groups or events.

Replace on URL /index.php?option=com_community&view=modulo&task=display&sort=Filtro&catid=ID categoría&Itemid=ID item

Currently the only way is to use method I mentioned above.
