ISSUE SUMMARY: (I am working on a my dev site testing this before creating a help video)

As group admin I received an email from a user asking to join my group (attachment 1).

I clicked on the link which took me to Attachment 2. This wasn't a page I could approve them on. Or sign in to.

After that (the other attachments) I can use the search function to find people - I can see info that I shouldn't be able to without being logged in.

The site has to be secure - ie - only registered users can access info (it's for teachers, and I explain that students won't be able to access any info because it is only accessible to registered and approved users). Whilst I appreciate that this isn't a high risk for this scenario - to be able to view any info from within the site when not logged in will affect users feeling that the site is secure!
