Hi, Udi.

1. A regular member needs to be a member of that private group.
2. You need to enable group discussion creation as well as file sharing in discussions: i.imgur.com/ElZyME1.png
3. Created group needs to have set "Allow to start discussions with an option to upload files": i.imgur.com/FRuEp6c.png
4. Then discussion needs to be created with settings "Allow group members to upload files": i.imgur.com/2W0oZBl.png
5. In discussion upload button will appear: i.imgur.com/2Zk1jae.png

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Michal,

thank you for quick response - I needed that reply.

Does it mean that a user can upload file ONLY to a discussion created by itself?

Udi
