Access level to Groups

JomSocial Active

Hi,

I have Jomsocial installed in my Joomla site. I would want to set different access levels in groups to community members.

I have two profiles: basic and premium.

Premium has to can create, invite, modify and delete groups. Basic only can see the groups and receive invitations from users Premium. If Basic users could require an invitation to group, it would be great. But it's not necessary.

Could you help me with this?

Thanks

Hi, Rosa Maria.

Browse to Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Profiles -> Multiple Profiles -> Choose profile and set: i.imgur.com/5dhiYTF.png
If you need more sophisticated settings you may try to use this extension: www.readybytes.net/jomsocial-profile-type.html

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
