Group Creation user point system

ISSUE SUMMARY: I thought Jomsocial had some sort of referral and or participation point / reward system that could be setup to add to the user / group participation in the way of points or another system to earn gifts, freebies, items, rewards etc.

It does :) Browse to Backend -> Component s-> JomSocial -> Configuration -> User Points
There you may set points amount for certain actions.
JomSocial may be also integrated with AlphaUser Points extension.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Does AlphaUser Points work good with Jomsocial?

It should - as for now I don't remember any issues with AlphaUser Points.
But to be sure - ask in our Community if any user has experience with it.
You may also contact with AUP developers.
