Wrong member count in groups

ISSUE SUMMARY:

Updated to latest Jomsocial 4.1.3

Adding new members to groups (in JS dashboard). Result: new members appear in group, but number of group members is not updated.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Enter JS dashboard, open "monitor " > members
1 Add members to selected groups
2 Members are being added (avatars of new members are displayed in the group member module)

RESULT
But, the new group members are not counted. The figure for total group members does not match with the number of avatars displayed (see screenshot)

EXPECTED RESULT
Correct number of group members

REMARK: I remember that this issue appeared also in JS 4.0.1 and was gone in 4.0.2. Seems it's back with 4.1.3.

Thank you for reporting this.

It's a bit different than previously reported bug and it apply to adding members via backend. I reported this to our developers.
github.com/jomsocial/JomSocial/issues/675

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Make safe copy of this file:

ROOT/administrator/components/com_community/controllers/groups.php

Then replace original file with patched one from package.
