ISSUE SUMMARY:

After the last upgrade to Jomsocial 4.1.1 i do't see all the photos any more. On the 'All Photos' page I can select 'My photos', 'Member Albums', Event Albums' and 'Group Albums'. Now I think al the group photos that are posted on the stream and not in a album are not displayed. In the database in table owc_community_photos_albums field default = 1, these albums are not displayed.

I think I know missing photos in de All Photo page :-(

Member Albums = All Albums/photos
I can see group photos at frontend and group stream.

and group albums only listed at group albums only. not mix up at my/members albums.

What about this album www.giilife.com/en/photos/album?albumid=53&groupid=8 , I cannot see it.

At the right side within the photo module I can see an image from this album, but not in the All Photos view.

that stream photos part of internal group albums.
there are three internal group albums:
stream photos
cover photos
avatar photos

that albums only visible at group photo albums. stream photos mean, that any photos that you put from group sharebox.
and all photos will visible at photos module.

So, the All Photos page is not displaying All Photos :-( while the module is displaying All Photos

I think this is a strange behaviour and people don't understand it they click on the module 'View All' but don't see the photos from the module any where on the All Photos page.

Sorry to say, but, it is wrong design and so a bug in the design.
It is now a mismatch between the module displaying All Photos and the component is not displaying All Photos.

And the second thing, why when people post photos in the group, the design says, yes it is a photo in the group, BUT, we don't tread it like a photo in the group, that is what the design is saying.

Its ok to label each photo, album photo, stream photo, avatar photo and cover photo, but they are still photos, so must be displayed in some way on the All Photos page.

Can you please sent this issue back to the designers, they must see there is a mismatch.

With all the respect this is not a bug or fault in design. Groups are treated as a small entities... a communities in global community. That's why they are separated from the rest. In this case photos will stay in the group as they may be irrelevant in global community context. They have their own context within a group. Many users use groups as small local network e.g for city or class.

So that's why this is by design - what happens in group, stays in group. If you have an idea to change it, please - post in User Voice, gather votes, lets' us see that this change is needed and expected for many users. We can't change global design only for one user request...
