Shoe only grouop members that are online

When accessing groups, is there a way to show only
members of that group that are online, rather than
showing all members on line? See attached screen shot.

I will do that. In the meantime, if I wanted to try my hand at making this change could you get me started by telling which directory and code file I would need to start reviewing? I have some experience in php & JS.
