Prevent Avatar & Cover Modifications from Appearing on the Activity Stream

Is there a way to prevent certain activities from appearing on the activities stream such as avatar and cover photos modifications? The clutter up the stream.

Hi, Keiths.

You may disable it here:

Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> User points and disable point rules for avatar and cover upload.

Then those activities will be not displayed any more...but also users will not receive points for them.

- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hello Michal, I followed your instructions but, still the Group Changed Avatar is displaying on the Groups Activity Stream. (See Attached)

Any suggestions?

Please provide us working administrator credentials.
I can't login to your site.
Please, edit your first post and add credentials to corresponding fields.

I just created a test group "JS test group" - uploaded avatar and it wasn't displayed on group stream.
It seems to work fine.

Please, note that avatar upload posts will not disappear after you disable points rule - only no new post will be created.
