I created a group and I want to invite people to join my group. The group is private. I use the Invite Friends button and added friends email.
The email invitation included a link to the group. However, the link is not private. The email can be forwarded to other people and they can register too.
I would prefer the link would be private in the sense that is custom made per invite for the specific email and can not be used by others. Or can by adding their emails on the invitation to be register automatically?
I'm sorry but this can't be done. If your user doesn't keep confidential data... then no one can do anything about it.
It will be like to give someone else their password.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.

- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
