Group event invitation - invite all email - message wrong
ISSUE SUMMARY:
It is great to have the ability for group events to be sent out as 'invitations' now.
However if you choose 'Invite all group members', then when the email goes out it contains the words "here's the message from the Event Admin". But this is blank when the message arrives.
This is because the Event Admin does not have an option to write the message if sending the invitation to the whole group, as the message is going out automatically (which I like).
EXPECTED RESULT Maybe Email notification shouldn't say 'here's a message....' and then if there is no message it doesn't matter? Not sure what other solution to suggest.
BROWSER
the status is 'on list'. developer will be decided when it done based on they priority tasks.
please wait for the fix. developers need time to tackle each reported bugs.
Remove the 'here's a message....' introduction line from all event invitations. Then if there is a message (eg personal invitations) the actual message will still show in the email but without the 'here's a message....' introduction. And for group invitations there won't be a confusing 'here's a message' line.
edit /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_community.ini and put this new code at any line
COM_COMMUNITY_EMAIL_EVENT_GROUP_INVITE_NO_MSG="Hi {target},\n\n{actor} has invited you to join an event %1$s.\n\nEvent Description: %2$s,\n\nTo view the event, access the URL at the following location:\n\n<a href=_QQQ_{url}_QQQ_>{url}</a>\n\nHave a nice day!"
