ISSUE SUMMARY:

Please have a look at the picture as attachement.
1. At first i want to fade out the "group details Button".
2. Where can i translate the tab titles "Discussions" (in German "Diskussionen") and activity (Aktivitäten).
3. In the acitivity stream is the text wrong if a new user join a group (something like: "{multiple}{actors}{/multiple}{single}{actor}{/single}".
4. There is no text division betwenn username and "und" (and), (please see on picture)
5. I want the follow thing: On the left side there is only "special content" from admins and on the right side the "normal" activity stream. How can i realize it? At the moment on the left side is the discussions. Is it possible there to show content only from admin for example pictures, videos, text or other Joomla! modules?

Thanks a lot,
Greetings,
Jan

Hi, Jan.

1. I;m not sure what you mean by "fade out" group details tab... you want to remove it? Change view?

2. You can translate any word or text using Joomla! language override:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Changin...gle_Sentence_or_Word

3. This is caused by your outdated language file. Make sure that you've installed latest version of language file and if it's for your JomSocial version.

4. This is also caused by your translation, you may correct that using Joomla! language overrides.

5. Yes, you may assign modules to that place. Just use JomSocial built-in positions. Please, read this: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Built-in_Module_Positions

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Can I generally in a menu to a group link without an external URL in Joomla! to use?

Hi, Jan.

1. Copy this file:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/groups/single.php

to:

ROOT/templates/your-template/html/com_community/ (if you don't have any of those folders, feel free to create them)

Then edit file (around line 844) and remove/comment this:

<a href="#joms-group--details" class="<?php echo ($showGroupDetails && $config->get('default_group_tab') == 1 ) ? 'active' : ''; ?>">
                <?php echo JText::_('COM_COMMUNITY_GROUP_DETAILS'); ?>
            </a>

and this:
<div id="joms-group--details" class="joms-tab__content" style="<?php echo ($config->get('default_group_tab') == 1 && $showGroupDetails) ? '' : 'display:none'; ?>">
            <ul class="joms-list__row">
                <li>
                    <span><?php echo $group->description; ?></span>
                </li>
                <li>
                    <h5 class="joms-text--light"><?php echo JText::_('COM_COMMUNITY_GROUPS_CATEGORY'); ?></h5>
                        <span><a href="<?php echo CRoute::_(
                                'index.php?option=com_community&view=groups&task=display&categoryid=' . $group->categoryid
                            ); ?>"><?php echo JText::_($group->getCategoryName()); ?></a></span>
                </li>
                <li>
                    <h5 class="joms-text--light"><?php echo JText::_('COM_COMMUNITY_GROUPS_CREATE_TIME'); ?></h5>
                    <span><?php echo JHTML::_('date', $group->created, JText::_('DATE_FORMAT_LC')); ?></span>
                </li>
                <li>
                    <h5 class="joms-text--light"><?php echo JText::_('COM_COMMUNITY_GROUPS_ADMINS'); ?></h5>
                    <span><?php echo $adminsList; ?></span>
                </li>
            </ul>
        </div>

3. This means your language is permanently wrong. But you could fix it by yourself. Just use Joomla! language override:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Changin...gle_Sentence_or_Word

Look for certain sentence, click on it in search results: prntscr.com/7aaggb

And remove "{multiple}{actors}{/multiple}{single}{actor}{/single}" and all "_QQQ_". This should fix your issue.

5. There is a smart way to do that without any coding. Install this extension: www.nonumber.nl/extensions/advancedmodulemanager

When editing module, new tab will appear "Tasks". Go there and look for position called URL. Enable it and paste your grup URL (without http) so module will be displayed ONLY on that URL.

Can I generally in a menu to a group link without an external URL in Joomla! to use?

I'm sorry but I don't understand. Could you elaborate?
