ISSUE SUMMARY:
Dear support.
I would like to have for every notification eMail the content of the (message/event/bulletin/discussion/...) inside the notification eMail.
Actual:
e.g. when I create an event in a group an eMail notification will be sent to all group members - ok.
The notification eMail contains:
- the subject
- a link to the event
Problem: our users want to see all information of this event in their notification eMail.
like the description of the event, start time, end time ...
Target for event notification eMails:
The target is to get notification eMails with the following information:
- the subject
- summary
- description
- start date / start time
- end date / end time
- location
- recurring: yes/no (nice to have)
- number of slots (nice to have)
- a link to the event (nice to have)
Good examples:
The notification eMails that sent to members due to new messages or discussions include the subject, the message and the link. Thats very good! Nobody has to open the link to get the message.
Our users are complaining that they have to open the link first to get all relevant information for new bulletins or new events.
Overall Target
They would be happy to get all the relevant information for all kind of notification with the notification eMail.
After some investigation about the structure I found out that the notification eMail can be customized in the "de-DE.com_community.ini" German translation pack. Unfortunately it was not helpful to extend the messages by placeholders like {message}.
It would be great to get an approach how to solve that. Honestly, it would be better to get the solution ;-)
