ISSUE SUMMARY:
I have 2 separate sites and the same issue on both. I was on Jomsocial 4.3 but have upgraded to 4.6 today and problem is still there. I saw someone else had this issue too, but there was no solution shown. I have turned errors on to maximum but no errors are displayed.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Go to Groups and Create Group
2 Click Save
3 The page refreshes with the Group details still waiting to be saved
4 The Group doesn't save
5
RESULT - No group
EXPECTED RESULT My new group
BROWSER Google Chrome

How do I fix this?

Update:

I have worked out what is causing the groups not to save. If you don't enter any text in the Full description box, it will not let you save. Enter the text and it saves ok.

Hi Melanie,

I turn on system message from template manager rt_audacity > features. that Full description must having asterisk as mandatory.
I reported to developer.

here the temp fix:
edit /components/com_community/templates/jomsocial/layouts/groups.forms.php at line 63, change the code from
