ISSUE SUMMARY:
1. I was able to access my groups, photos, videos and other things on the site. Now every time I try to access anything I get this error (404 - component not found).

2. Anytime I try to join a group or add a friend it doesn't allow me to. It just gives me a time out error. I also joined the 1 group I created and it doesn't show it. When it does... it won't let me join

that because that pages redirected to deleted menu item. please turn off redirect plugin. and revert back htaccess file to joomla default.

Fixed... but this issue was very awkward.
SOMETHING (some extension I think) is redirecting to non existing menu item with ID 101... I couldn't figure out which one... I'm guessing that the one that checks profile completion... but that's just a guess.

So what I did: I installed extension to connect with db and I changed Profile menu item ID from 178 to 101 and it start to work...

In spare time please, check your system for extension that uses some redirection and where you defined (currently) non-existed menu item.

Thank you. Yes I can now see groups and photos. I however have created a few groups. I can visit the group but I cant join it. I click Join and it thinks for a moment and then nothing. It does the same thing when I try to post on my own wall. it just thinks and then nothing pops up. It says "Undefined Error" on somethings. I also cant look at messages, add a friend or post anything on my page or anywhere? I am sorry ... I am an amateur at this stuff. Great site I'm just website building challenged. It says that the UBP Admin is a member of a group but I cant post in that either...

Actually in addition to everything above.... I can't access my groups anymore. I also can't see all 64 members. It will show them for a second and then they disappear.

I supplied some of the info .. please see above as requested. I am really struggling to get this thing to work.

I have been able to open my groups since my last post but still cant do the following:

use anything on my profile screen. IE.. messaging, search, friends, post on my activity or change my main banner. Nothing works at all

I also can't add friends or join any groups.

I found the problem. every AJAX request URL for status update, photo upload, and else always using this URL:
http://[site domain]/index.php
but at your site that URL always redirected to
http://[site domain]/profile

the URL must stay:
http://[site domain]/index.php

seem the issue with .htaccess file. please revert back to joomla default.

is there somebody that can help me do this? Do I need to pay somebody? I don't know what any of this means unfortunately. my knowledge of Joomla is very small. I'm so frustrated. I've had this site for two weeks and haven't been able to use it at all.

please check it, the issue from System - Member Home plugin. I turn off that plugin. now your site is working.
