All sorts of strange things happening with groups since the upgrade to version 4.0.1
Firstly using the main menu to access groups bring me to the groups page OK - but if I click on one of the featured groups I get redirected back to the JomSocial main page.
Secondly if I click on the event shown at the bottom right of the main page I get an error:-
Error
Sorry, we cannot find the specified event.
Thirdly - seems as though the upgrade is playing unusually with SEO's (standard Joomla SEO settings in Global Settings) - once logged in and on the JomSocial main page clicking groups on the JomSocial Toolbar takes me to:-
/component/community/user ID-username?Itemid=1171
instead of the groups page, which should be:-
/?Itemid=1171
Everything was working fine before the upgrade, so I don't know what is going on.
I have a version of JomSocial 4.0.1 installed on a development site with exactly the same SEO settings and I am not experiencing any of the above issues on that site.

Search Engine Friendly URLs - yes
Use URL rewriting - yes
STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 login
2 using the main menu - navigate to "community / users zone / community groups"
3 click on one of the 2 featured groups
4 you will be redirected back to the main page
5 also from main page click on Event on bottom right
