Hello!!
I installed the "Community - Latest group posts" module of Jomsocial in the front-end of my web site. I would like to show a message (for example: "there are no group posts") in the front-end when there are no group posts (now nothing appears!!). How can I do?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi, Luca.

This could be done by customizing module template (creating override).
Or you may set in module settings "Hide when empty".
Please, post URL to your community.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

What does option "Hide when empty" mean? It means that the module disappears if there are no posts?
What do you mean with "post URL to your community"? What should I do?

Thanks,

Hi, Luca.

In lower right corner (when editing module) you have: Hide if empty - hover over it and you'll see explanation: "<strong>Hide if empty</strong><br />Hides the module if its output is empty (to prevent module blocks with title but no content)."

Just post URL/link to your community frontpage o your site as I can't find it. You'll spare mi some time providing direct link ;)

Sorry, but I haven't found the option that you told me. Can you send me a screen shoot?

In the "hide section" of my post you will find the credentials to access my Joomla admin panel (with links of back-end and front-end of my web site).

Let me know,
thanks.

Hi, Luca.

It's here: prntscr.com/6055r9

I'm not asking backend access - you already provided it. I'm asking frontend URl to community.
When I'm clicking on "Community" in main menu I get: prntscr.com/6056j5
I'd like you to post a direct URL to your community page e.g http;//www.your-domain.com/community so I don't have to look for it.

Ah…ok!! I didn't understand you referred to the link to the community page. Sorry, but the problems was that my main menu was under construction. Anyway you can access to the "Community" page (toolbar) clicking on "Community->La tua network" entry in the main menu.

Let me know,
thanks.

Hi, Luca.

Install this extensions: extensions.joomla.org/extension/advanced-module-manager
And "Hide if empty" option will appear.
