I want to use jomsocial as a company intranet. I noticed that when i make a group and i want to add members that i can only choose "friends" from the list to join (are type emailadresses). Is it possible voor jomsocial to let me choose members from the joomla users list to join a group? I don't want al my colleagues to automatically be a friend because i don't want to see everyone's posts.

Hi Germin,

If you wanna invite from frontend group page, this is not possible right now, because we designed only for friend invitation

But you have another solution, you can assign the user to whatever group as you want from Jomsocial User Manager (Monitors->Members->Assign to group)
