Hello,

I'm back after upgrading to the latest version :-)

I'm want to build the groups structure based on the group category.

I'm looking for more documentation - please direct me to the right pages.

Please, read this:

If you have specific question - just ask on forum ;)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Maybe I wasn't clear enough.

I'm asking about Groups Categories - meaning, how it works, control, etc.

Hi, Udi.

You can create group categories in backend only. There is not much configuration here. It's just nested structure (tree) to contain groups). When you access group page in frontend you have a box that displays group categories so users can browse groups by categories instead of full list displayed in main area. Accessing certain category will display groups assigned to it specifically
