Hi,

It seems that our groups email notification is not referencing to language file. which file triggers this action? how do we solve this issue?

We get emails which contains the following:

Subject: COM_COMMUNITY_GROUPS_EMAIL_NEW_MEMBER_JOINED_SUBJECT

then

COM_COMMUNITY_GREETING
COM_COMMUNITY_GROUPS_EMAIL_NEW_MEMBER_JOINED

Hi Mike,

Can you check your lang file language/en-GB/en-GB.com_community.ini, and search these strings :

COM_COMMUNITY_GROUPS_EMAIL_NEW_MEMBER_JOINED_SUBJECT="\n%1$s joined your group, %2$s ."
COM_COMMUNITY_GREETING="Hi {target},"
COM_COMMUNITY_GROUPS_EMAIL_NEW_MEMBER_JOINED_SUBJECT="\n%1$s joined your group, %2$s ."

if you cant find them, just add them then.. and change the string value if you want.
