I'm getting a bad link in my group email URL's. The first part " www.brightonfmc.org " is listed twice.

I have added the specified IP address to my 'allow' IP's. Please try again. Also, make sure you use the full name for the FTP Name when you login as This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. instead of just bfmc_support.

that FTP account not pointing to your site. I've got empty folder on it. please check it again.

and please make sure live_site is empty ($live_site = '';) at your joomla configuration.php

Sorry for that. The FTP account is now pointing to my <home>/public_html site, so you should see my site when you connect this time. I didn't change my $live_site variable as you suggested, so I hope you are still able to troubleshoot. If I must change this, please specify the reason and impact so I am more comfortable changing this variable as you specified.

in the middle of debugging process, suddenly My IP is changed to 223.164.81.67
and I cant access the backend any more. please change $live_site to empty. this paramter by default should empty.

Ok - I disabled the IP check security in case you still want to login and do a group test; however, changing the live_site to 'empty' did the trick! When you close the ticket, please let me know so I can enable my security again.
