JomSocial Expired

I have a client who wants to display 3 main categories on the jomsocial landing page with description and avatar.
That way they can present the three main parts of the site... Is there any way to call categories with image and description, link list to groups into a module? Or the same effects with a menu selection.
Since we can't nest groups within groups I need this function. Unless there is a way to make subgroups?

Hi Eric,

jomsocial not designed for subgroups.

1) for module, you only can achieve that by create new module for that as 3rd party developer. for ref: www.jomsocial.com/jomsocial-developers

2) as menu items you can add the groups category URL as "external URL" type. this is joomla standard menu types

Albert
