If someone requests to join I group I moderate my notification says

"X has requested for you to join the Y Group" whereas it should say "X has requested to join the Y Group"

Dimas, the wording is also wrong when someone requests to join my Event, and says the opposite of what it should......

eg Clare has created an event and Catherine asks to join. But Clare receives an email saying "Catherine has requested you to join an event (Private event Y)". The 'You' should not be in there - it completely changes the meaning of the sentence!

I am English and I am finding a lot of grammar errors in the English in Notifications, Emails etc. It looks very unprofessional, and in this case is telling people the opposite of what it should.....

Here are some other examples of English that is wrong. Please can you request these are all changed for the next version of Jomsocial? And can I suggest that someone with good English checks notification messages carefully when they are created!

Examples of bad English:

S wished to join group (should be 'wishes to join the group'). (Subject box of, email notification of Request to join group)
X requested to join the group (should be 'has requested to join the group') (body of email in email notification of Request to join group)
"X has requested for you to join the Y Group" whereas it should say "X has requested to join the Y Group" - it says the opposite of what it should. (This is in the pop box of global notifications)
Email notifying invitation to Join Group: "Below is a message that is sent by Clare Test" (should say "Below is a message from Clare Test")
When you request to join a private event there is a pop up saying "You are requesting the invitation of the event, 'Private event for X Community'. Click 'Yes' to continue." (This should say "You are requesting AN invitation TO the event, 'Private event for X Community'. Click 'Yes' to continue."

Also the global notification for a request to join private event is wrong too, as it says "Catherine Pritchard wishes for you to join the private event, Private event for School Community", when she justs to wants to attend.

Also, when you have an Event, eg Cool Christmas Carols, then at the top Jomsocial adds in ' 's Event' after the Event name which looks bad. So it says 'Cool Christmas Carols's Event'. See file - please remove the 's so it says Cool Christmas Carols Event

Please don't tell me to put in a feature request to improve the English!!

Thank you very much. I think this can be labelled bug rather than Customer Issue now........!!

Will you be giving me fixes - in particular to the request to join group and request to join event notifications. Sometimes when we do language overrides they change the link in the email so it isn't a hyperlink so I don't want to do language overrides (Michal Dluzak is investigating)
