Group Email/Notices Not Working

Send mail to members of a group does not deliver mail to group members. it says it has been sent, but none of the group members get emails. I also don't think members get notices when somebody adds a friend, messages them, etc.

Hi Mike,

You need activate the cron job task, because the email system will be generated from there documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Setting_Up_Cron_Job

Anyway Mike, you are using old Jomsocial version, please you update it to the latest version 3.2.1.3

We upgraded, and best I can tell the cron might be working now. However, the module on the front page of the site no longer lets you "Like" things or other items, it just sends you to the top of the page.

We still have "and {target}" showing up in our modules, too after the upgrade. As in "Mike Lawson and {target} are now friends."

Still have target issue, though

Hi Mike,

That stream is coming from old stream, you cant fix it, but you can hide the {target} tag by executing this query :

UPDATE #___community_activities SET title = REPLACE(title,'{target} ','') WHERE app="profile";
