announcements total stuck at 20

I have 22 announcements within the group section but the total only shows 20
i can continue to add announcements & i can see them in the list but the total doesn't change

I confirm, this is a bug and I'm able to replicate it...
I report it to our developers.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Please, make a safe copy of this file:

ROOT/components/com_community/templates/default/groups.viewgroup.php

And upload attached fix.

Your test site is JomSocial 3.2.0.5 but fix file is for 3.2.1.1.
Probably this cause issue.
So, Please, check it again but on JomSocial 3.2.1.1.

Michal,
All my sites are 3.2.0.5 & you helped me resolve the self activation problem so that i wouldn't have to upgrade.
Is it possible to get the fix for 3.2.0.5?

Hi, Alan.

Your JomSocial installation becomes older and older... we support only current version -> 3.2.1 so if we provide a fix, then it is for latest version. We don't issue particular fix for older version. You need to upgrade if you want to receive support.

Your previous issue or had fix for your version or it was rather configuration issue (I don't remember)...

So in this case, you should upgrade if you want to resolve your issue.
