Error when Creating Group Discussions

Hello. I am using Jomsocial 3.1.1, I just upgraded because I thought it might solve this problem, but it did not.

I get this error:
Sorry, this group is under moderation by the Administrator.

when trying to start a group discussion.

Please, disable all sh404SEF extensions and check if issue still persist.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Someone on your team completely disabled SH404SEF and never turned it back on. My entire site is indexed in Google, and the last thing I need is 404 errors. I will contact SH404SEF about fixing this issue.

Please see the attached screenshot for the issue that occurs when SEF is turned off. Now I can't enter the actual discussion. Thank you.

Probably you mean that you can't create group discussion as mandatory field "Discussion message" is not visible?
I saw this before sef404 was disabled so this issues are not connected.

Please, open new thread for that issue as it is irrelevant to current thread title.
