You are using very old Jomsocial version, I suggest you upgrade it first the the latest version 3.1.1.

Hi We cannot upgrade now as we have made customisations and will upgrade in due course. Is it not possible to upload xlsx, docx and pptx files in our current version? this will be a big problem for us.

Actually we cant support any issue in old Jomsocial version, and I hope you can undertsand with that.

Anyway, we just released version 3.2 RC1, please you download and play with it, you will find new cool features there and also some bugs fixing.
