The Most Active Groups Module doesn't seem to working correctly ie. not listing the most active groups, seems a random list.
Can you check this out please?

I have been looked at your website and this module.. it didn't shown random list.. i logged id into your web and refresh page 3 times and this module always shown same groups in there.. if i missed something please let me know..

maybe you explain to me step by step with screenshoots.. :)

Sorry I should have been a little clearer. Random in that the groups selected to populate the module are not the most active groups and those listed and seem to have been randomly selected. Even if they were the most active groups they are not in order either. The list never changes either, regardless of activity.

Our most active groups module criteria are :
1. Most Wall Post
2. Most Discussion

Photos, Videos, Members are not include in that criteria.. i saw all groups in your most active group module display like our criteria..

Strange - looking at he list the most popular Group under the criteria you mentioned it is not at the top.

Yes - I'd prefer to list 1st by number of members in the Group, then by the number of posts on the group wall

The listing by number of members in the group is probably the most important bit - but after that if it were then by the number of Discussions (rather than number of posts as I mentioned above) that would be just as good.

The Active module still doesn't seem to order correctly even by the criteria you mentioned either.

Sorry for very late respons from me because our team (including me) still doing unit testing for jomsocial 3.2 :)
I will create new sql for you but this sql statement will be overwrite if you do any upgrade later..

maybe you can give me your cpanel access so i can try my sql statement on your phpmyadmin database to get actual result..

Ok sorry I know you guys are busy. I've solved the problem by purchasing a module.

I do have another issue in the back end which really needs sorting in that I can't Assign people to Groups in the back end of JomSocial. I saw your patch fix in another post however using this means JomSocial in the back end just shows a white page so this doesn't work for me. Can you have a look at this please?
