JomSocial Expired Socialize Expired

Hi
Joomla 2.5
Latest Socialize template
Latest Socialize component
Socialize Toolbar

I am trying to figure out how I can show Groups and Events on the mobile version of the site. I get the stream but nothing else - probably really obvious sorry.

Thanks

Hi, Simon.

I can't login to your site. Could you provide us with working credentials?
Please, edit your first post and add them in appropriate fields.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Simon.

I'm not sure if I understand you well... I just visited your site via Samsung with Android and both Events and Groups displaying well.
So you can't display groups and events on your mobile (model and system?)?
Or you want to change the way they are displayed?

Ok that is confusing. Have a Sony Z L and use a site to check other device and can't see how you managed to get to see Groups or Events - I bet this is going to be a face palm moment!

Here's what I do to replicate - go to this link mobiletest.me/samsung_galaxy_y_emulator/#u=http://999cfr.co.uk and select the menu item (not the tab item) for the 'CFR Network'. Can you tell me if you see just the Stream with no Groups and Event and how you get to Groups and Events from there. Or am I totally missing something really obvious?

Hi, Simon.

I reached Groups and Events with no problem :)

1. Log in.
2. You'll see main activity stream.
3. Click on some user
4. You'll be redirected to his/her profile
5. You'll see list of links: About me, Photos, Videos, Groups, Events, Friends
6. Click on Groups
7. You'll users groups
8. Click on All groups
9. You'll see all groups in the list

I apply to all other links.

But I know whats all about - when you in mobile view Hello me module is not visible. I changed settings in template - now this module will be visible in the bottom of page so access to groups and events will be easier now.

Michal I have no idea how you did that but THANK YOU! A quality solution and It's looking great.

Can you share how you did that with the template settings as I'm sure I looked at that in depth, even looking at it now I can't see what has been changed?

Hi, Simon.

Sure:

1. Backend -> Templates Manager -> Socialize
2. Click on Layout
3. Click on Responsive Layout
4. Now, you can enabe and disable certain module position for certain view (like Mobile or Tablet) by clicking on eye icon.
5. Your modules in sidebars ware disabled in Mobile and Tablet view.
6. I just enabled them by clicking on their name

Feel free to try it :) If something goes wrong, I'll help you to fix it.
