While you fix the bug in the backend, is there another way to assign users to groups?

for this time maybe you can invite that user manually to groups.. because our developer still working on that issue and another issue :) Sorry for the inconvenience :)

I can give you a quick fix for this i hope this one can help you.. just upload this file on
administrator > components > com_community > controllers

and replace groups.php file.. but don't forget to backup your website first before did this quick fix.. :)
