With both admin(super User ) and a registered user , after editing a group description from the front end , pressing save it gives an error page. , ALSO , from admin back end , editing a group description (with a link ) , after save link turns to plain text. If I create a new group on the front end , a link in the description is Ok, but if I try to edit that description in the back end the link turns to plain text.

can you explain step by step how to replicate your problem? maybe you can attach a few printscreen here :)

Here is how i replicate your problem :
1. Login to your front end site
2. Go To Groups
3. Select 1 groups (in this case i selected "Freshwater Fishing)
4. Click on "Options" -> "Edit"
5. Go To Description text area
6. i made a link in your description (text = "All About Freshwater Fishing" and link = " www.google.com ")
7. Save changes (Nothing error, save successfull)
8. go to group description
9. and this description with link was successfull save :)

Maybe i missed something please let me know :)
