-- When attempting to create a new "announcement" or "discussion", I get the following message (even though the group is published by admin);
"Sorry, this group is under moderation by the Administrator."


-- When attempting to "edit an event", the "edit group" page is accessed, instead of the "edit event" page.

Could you upgrade your JomSocial to the latest 3.1.0.4 version to see if this will help for this problem?

I have completed the upgrade to v3.1.0.4 and the problem is still there.

I have discovered more issues with "photos" and "videos" feature:

- After upload, photo can be viewed in album, but when clicking on image to view at full size, following message is received;
"Sorry, the system needs a proper id to process."

- When trying to view video in "private" group, even as a member of the group, The following message is received;
"Restricted Access"

Ok, that's fine. I can start another thread on the additional problems if need be. So, as you suggest; let's concentrate on the original problem.

What is the progress on my original problem? I guess I am confused as to why the status of my post is "pending customer" - as I am still awaiting some assistance. I am changing the status to "my problem is not fixed".

Hi there.

I just found an thread with exact problem and the cause of the problem was extnesion sh404sef, and as far I can see, you're also using this component. Could you try to disable it and all sh404sef plugins to check if this will solve your problem.

I have disabled the sh404sef extension and associated plugins.

I also upgraded Jomsocial to v3.1.1 from v3.1.0.4

Unfortunately, this did not fix the problem.

Also as far I can see the layout of our template is completly broken, and probably it's caused by some custom extension. Could you install some default joomla template so we could check if it's a template problem?

Hey Chris,

Seems my problems keep increasing. Now I can't seem to install a default joomla template. For some reason I deleted the Prostar template and now can't seem to get it back to install and test as you suggest. I have attempted to install via Joomla extension manager but get error message. I have uploaded via ftp the prostar template folder - but still don't know how to "install" the template.

Sorry, i seem to be in over-my-head here.

I will update the "private" area of the support ticket to include FTP accesss and cPanel access if that will help.

Ok, I have managed to install the Prostar default Joomla template (just had to use "discover" from extension manager). I switched the site to the Prostar template, tried to ad discussion and announcement in Jomsocial group and unfortunately - problem is still present.
