Error when try to change group admin via the JomSocial backend

Hi,

When we tried to change a group admin via the JomSocial backend, a blank page was displayed.
After which we turned on the system error and we received the following error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function load() on a non-object in /XX/XX/XX/XX/XX/administrator/components/com_community/controllers/groups.php on line 401

Any help will be appreciated...

I can't access your backend. I get error screen.
Please check file permissions or configuration file.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Problem to access backend still persist - it is not connected with credentials.
Probably paths are invalid. Please check paths for $log_path and $tmp_path in the configuration.php

Hi Michal,

We have updated the paths for $log_path and $tmp_path in the configuration.php.

We have tested in 5 Browsers and can easily access the back-end of www.mydietfreelife.com website.

Please try again and let us know if the problem still persists.

Is there a way to change the group admin via the database directly ?

This time I cant log in... it seems that credentials don't work any more (?)
I used credentials from this topic: www.jomsocial.com/forum/technical-issues...process-is-completed since in this one (for some reason) box with credentials is gone...

Yes, you can change group owner/administrator in data base. Look for this table:
_community_groups
And change the number that's corresponds to user id in "ownerid" column. Users ID you'll find in _community_users table.

Please use the credentials which is added to this particular topic.
