The JomSocial 3.2 development is still not finished, so I'm not really sure how exactly this feature will work, it looks like we've to wait for a beta release at least.

At this moment we don't have any exact release date, but I can tell you that JomSocial 3.2 is in 90% ready, so the release is "quite" near :) but like I said, I can't promise anything at this point of development.
