What you mean by "can't invite", is there any error? Could you maybe elaborate?

there is no error, the feature does not seem to exist.
I create a private group, invite members, members join. In that group I create an event - I would like to invite all the group members to that group event, but there is no feature and I don't understand why since there is an invite feature for normal events.
And It seems group events don't get recognized without an invitation in my community.

Did you made any modifications to our php files? Since "events" menu is missing from a group page, which is strange since event sharing is enabled on your site.

I did a change to the members module php file and the inbox.php - but nothing else.
We are working with overrides however, does this mean anything?

Please, if you do change anything please do a file backup somewhere.

Could you check maybe if this problem will persist on some clean JomSocial/Joomla installation?

I cannot invite anyone to a group event - please check.
