Hi,

When trying to change ownership of a group from the back end, I get this error:

CTableGroupMembers::bind(*NULL*)

This is while viewing the details of the group. There's also an option to change ownership when viewing the list of all groups. In that case I get a different error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function load() on a non-object in /home/dev07/domains/oorzaak-develop07.nl/public_html/administrator/components/com_community/controllers/groups.php on line 308

It seems that ownership has been changed after all, but for me it is hard to say which action did the trick. I also tried from the front end, changing the role of one group member from owner to 'normal member' and vice versa. I did not check after each step, so I was not being very methodical I'm afraid.

I've created a temporary admin account for you. The site is a test/develop site.
Kind regards, Frits

Hi Michal,

Thanks for replying so quickly. Unfortunately this issue is not fixed with updating JomSocial to version 3.1.0.4.
Also I noticed that in the 3.2.0.4 version the dialog box (modal box) in the back end does not work ok with the Safari browser, see screenshot.

Kind regards,
Frits

Hi, Frits.

1. Issue with modal window: I uploaded file components/com_community/assets/window-1.0.js from 3.1.0.4 package and it seems to be solved. Please confirm.

2. Fatal error: I edited groups.php file. Error is gone. Please confirm.

Hi Michal,

Just to make sure: do I need to download and install the 3.1.0.4 package again?

And it seems that I wrote 3.2.0.4 in my earlier post, that was a typo of course.

Kind regards,
Frits

Hi, Frits.

As for now, if everything is fine, no, you don't need to reinstall.
