ACL for jomsocial is planned but we are some way off this I think. However for now I need some solution. I have created multiple profile types 'Business' and 'Consumer' . I only want those with Business profiles to be able to 'ADD' Albums, Groups and Events. All other members can view, comment and participate in these sections, BUT only business profile types can ADD new events, groups and albums.
As far as I can tell the 'add new' links are in the 'view' files. I need to HIDE these links to everyone EXCEPT admin and those with BUSINESS profiles.

How can I modify Pauls suggested '<?php if($group->categoryid == '1' || $isAdmin || $isSuperAdmin ){ ?>' to hide these links. Ideally replacing the if($group->categoryid == '1' with Profile type==business . Or does someone have a better solution? Advise would be really appreciated.

silly me, I just noticed in admin that we can control which profile can create new groups and events!!

SO.... I only need to control who can add new albums. Can anyone please advise HOW I can hide the create albums link so that only business profiles can add them.
