Hi i would like to know how to configure the system in order to:

- Someone of our friend group create an event
> Everyone recieves an instant notification mail.

Yes, it will work.. you can configure it from jomsocial configuration->privacy, and configure "Default User Email & Notifications"

Is it possible to add users in this group easily?

I would be interested with:

- adding automaticaly a user in a group while the inscription process
- adding manualy some old users to a group

- to add user to group automatically you need to install 3rd party extenstion, please try this www.joomapp.com/extensions/usergroup-mapper-jomsocial
- you need to do it from Jomsocial Members page from backend, there you can see button "Asssign to group" there
