Would you mind to check your error log on your server, and let me know what do you get? because debug from error reporting is useless, the error is not showing there.
Maybe you can ask your sys-admin to debug the error, and let me know what do you get on your error log file.

I just can suggest you to try set your server setting like our recommendation setting..
I dont think downgrade to 4.1.6 will fix it, but you can try it.. download the package from here

and install it by override the version 4.2.2 directly.

I think your server is not really good, because randomly i get error timeout (just my opinion), and your website it not really busy if I see the trafic, maybe you can ask again your sys-admin to inspect why your site is very slow..
Anyway, another solution you can install 3rd party cache like
extensions.joomla.org/extension/jotcache
or use cloudflare
