Problem in frontpage event view

Hi,
Today I updated the version of Jomsocial 4.2.2 but now is showing giving problem in Event's frontpage/home. It was working fine with old version. Kindly let me know why it is?

Do you mean that you have blank page when viewing this page:
the7thhappiness.com/en/event/all-events?filter=apps&value=event

Your site response is very slow so I can't access your site Global Configuration. Please, check if your server meets our system requirements:
documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/System_Requirements

Or Browse to Backend -> System -> Global Configuration -> Server and set Error reporting to Maximum.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Yes, it is blank when viewing this page.

As per suggestion, I have set Error reporting to Maximum(screenshot attached). But still blank.

Hi Teresa,

Would you mind to check your error log on your server, and let me know what do you get? because debug from error reporting is useless, the error is not showing there.

Maybe you can ask your sys-admin to debug the error, and let me know what do you get on your error log file.

Hi Dimas

No error found in error log file related to jomsocial. I check in my console and found the errors as screenshot attached. And according to firebug it is giving 500 internal error.

This error cant be debugged from firebugs, since this is error from server code not from client code :)

Would you mind provide me FTP access, please? I will see the code directly.

Your server is not fit with our system requirment, even I see your "max_input_time" setting is -1, our recommendation value is 300.

this is our system requirments



Please you upgrade your server and ask your sys-admin to do it.

All the things are working fine with Jomsocial 4.1.6, Problem start with new version 4.2.2 . Kindly help to fix the problem or let me know the steps to get back to old version.

Hi Teresa,

I just can suggest you to try set your server setting like our recommendation setting..

I dont think downgrade to 4.1.6 will fix it, but you can try it.. download the package from here www.dropbox.com/s/p2co3i9gcwyggub/com_co...y_std_4.1.6.zip?dl=0 and install it by override the version 4.2.2 directly.

Hi Teresa,

I think your server is not really good, because randomly i get error timeout (just my opinion), and your website it not really busy if I see the trafic, maybe you can ask again your sys-admin to inspect why your site is very slow..

Anyway, another solution you can install 3rd party cache like extensions.joomla.org/extension/jotcache or use cloudflare
