I need to change the date of Y-m-d to d-m-Y when an event log shows the date in standard format , you need to switch to pt_BR format

You can change the date format from your pt-BR ini file, find and change this string :

COM_COMMUNITY_EVENTS_TIME_FORMAT_24HR="%b %d %Y at %H:%M"
COM_COMMUNITY_EVENTS_TIME_FORMAT_12HR="%b %d %Y at %I:%M %p"

COM_COMMUNITY_EVENTS_TIME_FORMAT_24HR=" %d %b %Y at %H:%M"

ah that part, I am sorry that cant be changed, that is default date format from mysql database, if you wanna change this format, it would be very tricky and I dont recommened this. The possible thing is only edit date format from event detail, which the solution already provided above

What is your FTP access, I will check it directly.. but please remember i only will apply the date format on event detail, not date format from edit event..
