Hi,
I publish an test event and then unpublish from the backend but it is still showing events home page on site.
Kindly use domain as
www.the7thhappiness.com/administrator
rather than
www.7thhappiness.com/administrator
I already have raised request to modify the domain change.
Event url is : -
the7thhappiness.com/en/one-on-one/events
Kindly do the needful.
Thanks and Regards
HI, Teresa.
There is only one event unpublished:

And it's not appearing on event list:

You probably mean that post about event is still visible on activity stream.
Unpublishing event will not hide activity stream post.
You may remove it by clicking on little arrow in upper right corner and choose "Delete" option:

Hi, Teresa.
It's not a bug - please note that you didn't DELETED test event but just unpublished it.
If you click on such an unpublished event you'll get notification "Sorry, but the event is under moderation by the administrator.".
What is correct and works as designed.
DELETINg event in backend will also remove stream item.
Hi Michal
Its a test event that can be remove/delete. As I check if I delete event from frontend but when I publish again, it is not showing on frontend. Should I have to create events as fresh. What will be happen when I have a lot of events and have to stop for some time. Will I have to delete all events.
Am I wrong here?
Kindly let me know.
Regards
Hi, Teresa.
For each event you should create NEW JomSocial event.
Enabling and disabling event is a bad idea as you'll need to delete activity stream... and after you publish it again - activity will not appear once again.
Activity on stream in NOT an event itself - it's jus a kind of notification that new event was added.
So recommended method is to create event that has start and end date.
When even reaches end date it will be moved from All Events list to Past Events list (just for the record). So you don't have to publish and un-publish events. Just rely on creating new one. And leave activities about event on stream like they are, they will be pushed down by other activities. It's a kind of timeline - what just happen in your community.
