I saw the video, that event created under closed group. so that event privacy will same with that event. the event will be closed (privacy).
please let me know if I missing something.

I'll only add that as I delete the event from the group back to normal. These events are not the group and are separate. I will start again to see if there is a problem.

Hi I made this experiment on my test site. Which you can use for testing. As you enter you will see a test event is a closed group. The next test 2 is self open type but says it is closed.

this is not bug, there is 3rd party extensions that "hijack" that event variable. please give me time for this.

after line 97, or after this code

$isGroup = false;

$privateGroup = false;
